Skelmersdale-Wednesday

Over the past few years art students have evolved into an eager group with lots of ambition to learn skills and gain knowledge. The students always get really involved with the theme of the project, and thoroughly immerse themselves in researching, encouraging group discussion, which promotes further awareness and commitment, this gives an enriching educational learning experience.

In the afternoon, we have Raised Voices Choir who follow the same theme. After a discussion at each session Students decide which songs to rehearse with a view to performing at the end of term. These performances are usually in public places or care home in the local area.

Several study visits are organised each year. The students have become much more confident in their outlook on life helped with these inspiring visits to these amazing public places of interest.
